Personal statement
My long term research interests involve the development of a comprehensive understanding of key developmental pathways and how alterations in gene expression contribute to human disease, in particular cancer.
Academic training and research experiences constitute my background in multiple biological disciplines including molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, and genetics. My research interest is centered on epigenetic regulation in solid and hematological cancers, providing me new conceptual and technical skills in precision medicine and whole genome analysis.
The research activity is finalized to new epigenetic drugs identification, with anticancer proprieties and low toxicity index and it is focused on the area of overcoming resistance to chemotherapy pathways in worse prognosis solid cancers.
At the of 2019, I started to work in the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli as Independent Researcher (RTDA), coupling the laboratory activities with academic responsibilities, such as teaching and students supporting efforts.
